Rain forest, glaciers and wild Pacific cost – in one place?
Yes! Such a place exists – it’s the Olympic National Park. And yes, it is on the UNESCO list. 🙂
You have already seen the photos from incredible beaches based on the Rialto beach example.
Today, a few pics from the Hoh Rainforest that yearly gets 140 inches (3556 mm!) to 170 inches (4318 mm) of precipitation.
I guess I was incredibly lucky it was not raining the day I was there.
The Hall of Mosses is an easy 3/4 mile (or 1,2km) hike that kids can do as well.

This nice loop gives an opportunity to see moss in all possible states..

…to admire the unlimited greenness…

…in all hues of green…

…just at a stretch of an arm from the main path.
