Holidays are not conducive to systematic blog activities. Every possible moment I try to stay outside, away from home. I’ve already had several long trips so I decided to spent last Saturday a closer to Poznan. This June ended long-term restoration of Raczynski Palace in nearby Rogalin (about 20 km from Poznan center). It’s allways was a place worth visiting but now It’s just stunning. XVII century residence recreated with the highest attention to detail. Rooms with upholstered walls, genuine furniture and details – It all makes you feel like travelling in time to the times of this palace greatness.
Don’t forget to see 1000-year-old oak trees in the beautiful park and permanent exhibition of great paintings (both Polish and international).
