Late Modernism. Six floors and – as envisaged by Le Corbusier – free ground floor. In 1975 when It was opened it became the most modern library in Poland – “House of Books” because on several floors it gathered, like a family, several bookstores. Now it’s another monument waiting for renovation and new life. Recently I discovered that it’s a home for Photographic Collective “Ciemnica“. Maybe someday I’ll visit this place!
