Today the Seine River surpassed its normal level by 6,2m. This moment was very closely observed by all city.

Louvre and Orsay Museums closed and took measures to protect multiple art pieces that got endangered by this high level of the river.

The “quai”, the fast track next to Seine, is closed due to the flooding. Petrol stations, boutiques selling tickets for boat trips (Bateaux Mouches etc.) are covered in water.

Some of the metro stations are closed and globally the traffic got very bad today due to traffic jams created by the closed streets.
